During Monaco Ocean Week 2018, which took place from 8 to 14 April, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco inaugurated the exhibition “From coral to reef: a jewel in danger”.

This exhibition, organized by the Scientific Centre of Monaco, is part of the International Year of the Reef 2018. It reveals the beauty of coral reefs, but also the damage caused to them. Using powerful images, she highlights the vital link that exists between these ecosystems and Man.

The photographs on display come from the Monaco Scientific Centre and its partners: Phoctopus, The Ocean Agency and Coral Guardian. On the picture below, we can see Martin Colognoli, co-founder of Coral Guardian, explaining the purpose of our actions to H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, obviously very interested in our work! We also had the privilege to meet Xavier Sticker, Ambassador for the Environment and Richard Vevers Tate, director of Chasing Coral.

To admire some of our most beautiful pictures, visit the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco now and until December 31, 2018.
