IDEAS certification

Coral Guardian is in the process of obtaining IDEAS certification from the Institute for the Development of Ethics and Action for Solidarity. This certification attests to the organisation’s budgetary rigour, programme effectiveness
and quality of governance.

Each year, an internal audit committee evaluates Coral Guardian to ensure that governance principles are properly applied and that risks are continuously monitored. If any discrepancies are found, it informs the Board of Directors, which can then take appropriate action. This committee also helps to improve our practices through its recommendations.
